And up a hill no less, making passing even more dangerous. One must be patient. I remember thinking most people were when we visited Ireland a few years ago.
Tis the season the tractors must go to the fields...one way or another! Most of our country roads are also hills and curves making passing very difficult.
I love it when the tractors actually pull over to let people go by. But the upside of following a slow vehicle is getting a good look at the roadsides. Except that there is always trash, at least here in the US.
Great catch -- we saw so much of that when we spent some time in Eastern Oregon last yeaar. It's farm country -- and it feels like you are the only people on the road until you get behind a tractor driver who feels like he owns the road (I guess he sort of does). And then you look and there's dozens of cars behind you.
Uma imagem que me fez sorrir, pois aqui, de vez em quando acontece-nos o mesmo! Adorei a perspetiva da imagem, que nos mostra a longa fila, em espera!... Um grande abraço! Ana
You don't have to be FAST to be a boss...just need to be a TRACTOR LOL
ReplyDeletei think the tractor move so slow, the other vehicles must be patient. ^^
ReplyDeleteHave a nice day Bill
The joy of following one!
ReplyDeleteFollow the leader.
ReplyDeleteThe road is used by everyone, be patient....
ReplyDeleteHello,
ReplyDeleteI have been behind some slow tractors, one must be patient.
Take care, have a happy new week!
Ha a bigger road or patient needed.
ReplyDeleteOh, the tractor pile up! You have to be careful with farm machinery. All the best to your Monday!
ReplyDeleteI like tractors. They teach patience.
ReplyDeleteGod bless.
...I find it amazing that you find so many tractors on the streets.
ReplyDeleteA few people are probably muttering under their breath.
ReplyDeleteWe are a ways from tractor season yet.

ReplyDeleteBom dia. Desejo uma excelente segunda-feira com muita paz e saúde.
ReplyDeleteLooks like the farmer has a "convoy."
ReplyDeleteOh yes, this has happened to me.

ReplyDeleteThat's a familiar sight in Mid Wales too! :D
ReplyDeleteSuch is country life.
ReplyDeleteMy little munchkins would be so excited to be behind that tractor!
ReplyDeleteBuena caravana de coches, se ha formado detrás de él.
ReplyDeleteThere would be a lot of irate drivers if that happened here.
ReplyDeleteI noticed farmers in Ireland often drive their tractors to town. Does not happen often here. That's a large rolling roadblock.
ReplyDeleteSlow and enormous! It takes up a lane and a half... It's essential to be patient!; ))
ReplyDeleteGood evening, dear friend...
~~~~~~~
Difficult situation for both the tractor and the cars
ReplyDeletebut just take it easy
It looks funny to us but for the people in the back I guess it's annoying :)
ReplyDeleteReminded my of the train scene in my basement. :)
ReplyDeleteSlow tractor. People and cars have to wait. Nice photo, Bill.
ReplyDeleteThat happens a few times in our rural area.
ReplyDeleteYikes... nothing like a tractor traffic backup when you need to be somewhere in a hurry!
ReplyDeleteQue tractor tan grande. Te mando un beso.
ReplyDeleteI know the feeling.
ReplyDeleteVeiculo sempre lento, por sorte há de dar passagem!
