a day by the water
fun at the Foyle one day this month.
This guy wanted to test the water while his companion looked on.
A boater enjoying his boat heading toward Greencastle.
Two walkers enjoying their stroll and each other's company.
Heading down Malin Road was slow for the drivers.

the clean up crew
watching and waiting until the people leave their table
once they left, the clean up crew went to work. A few extra flew in to help. They are a very efficient crew and left nothing not even a crumb.

fordson major diesel tractor
Between 1917 and 1922, the Fordson was for tractors somewhat like the Ford Model T was for automobiles—it captured the public's imagination and widely popularized the machine, with a reliable design, a low price affordable for workers and farmers, a widespread dealership network, and a production capacity for large numbers. Just as the Model T helped the public to appreciate how soon cars and trucks might replace most horses in transport, the Fordson helped people to appreciate how soon tractors might replace most horses in farming.
All info from Wikipedia
Fordson production occurred in the U.S. (1917–1928); Cork, Ireland (1919–1923 and 1928–1933); and at Dagenham, Essex, England (1933–1964). Tens of thousands of Fordsons, most from the U.S. and some from Ireland, were exported to the Soviet Union from 1920 to 1927. Soviet Fordson clones were also built at Leningrad from 1924 and at Stalingrad from 1930.

Ballinrobe's Market House and Court House
The current, prominently sited Market House, was rebuilt c 1752, and
has a Sapper’s mark on the exterior, and also has a Victorian post box,
now over painted in green. The original post-box would have been
painted red and still retains Queen Victoria’s 1819-1901 crest. The
District Courtroom was housed upstairs until recently. The lower
storey would have been open to the elements with windows only being
inserted at a later date.
According to Mayo County Councils listed building register no 10, this is a “good
example of a large two story building with five bays and a small
pediment with a Diocletian window and clock. Although the building has
been converted into a public house, it has successfully retained much
of its character, with such features as the original slated roof
complete with lead ridges and louvered topknot.” The Courthouse was upstairs with the market held at the open loggia on the ground floor.

I saw this little hideaway on one of my walks, rather cute I thought. I wonder what it is used for. It is located on the side of the driveway.
