  1. I've hardly used cash since Covid began, paying for everything with a card these days.

  2. It's changing world out there.

  3. Hi Bill.

It's a shame that so much is gone.

    Greetings from Patricia.

  4. Amazing how big those machines are. I thought it was a man sitting at a desk on the other side of the wall handing you the money.

    God bless.

  5. What's the purpose of the hole in the wall? I think it was perhaps a window. Digitalization has reduced the need for currency, and transactions are now conducted via mobile phones, reducing the necessity for banks.

  6. Hello,
Some people may miss the ATM. I would miss my bank if it closed.
Take care, have a happy day!

  7. Oh dear. Guess it will be patched up.

  8. We are increasingly being forced in the direction of digital finance. Very annoying because who will be at the controls of supervision in a moment.

  9. All those digital developments I hate it!

  10. Oh Wow..now that's a hole. People look at you funny these days when you do use cash.

  11. ...locally, banks seen to be on every corner!

  12. Many banks here are closed...people lost their jobs. Digitalization is real.

  13. You wonder how long it will be before there are no longer physical locations.

  14. It is a sad thing that there will be no face to face help or advice available for people. I use cash as much as possible.

  15. So what's going on with so many small banks closing and ATM's too? Customer service is down to almost zilch as well. Artificial Intelligence has taken over I guess.

  16. Sad to see small branch banks closing so the services they provide are gone. Looks like we are moving to a cashless society.

  17. Wouldn't be hard to break into that bank.

  18. What a pity! The new wall is very beautiful, it will have an ugly ornament... I'm sorry...
    Sweet spring days, dear Bill.

  20. Oophs, seems like a repair is needed. We had the pleasure of visiting Ireland a few years before Covid, loved it. Spotted you on a mutual friends blog and thought I'd pop in for a visit. It's always fun to meet new bloggers. I have fallen off my walking and need to pick things up again...keep waiting for better weather; but perhaps I'll force myself to get out there today and get some steps in.

  21. Hope it´s just for repair! Here some want "real" money!

  23. That's a really interesting shot. And kind of sad...

  24. Está reduciendo las sucursales y las plantillas de los empleados, ya sólo quieren que se acuda´a los cajeros.

  25. A beautiful painting would fit there:)

  27. Oh, I've never seen anything like this, dear Bill. But it is to be feared that this will become more and more common...

  30. Now that's just inviting someone to climb in there and have a photo taken. Everything seems digital these days. I'm not particularly fond of that.

  31. Isso não parece ser bom.
Vocês vão ficar sem caixa eletrônico?

    Um abraço!

  32. Esas cosas pasan pero da mucha pena. Te mando unb eso.

  33. Bill - now, this IS a new meaning for "hole in the wall". So sad to see branches close. These days, it gets harder and harder to find a "real person" to talk to!

    Ana
