I like the composition of this photo, it is extraordinary, the shovel does not invite you to take it, nor to use it, so it will be out there without being paid much attention. Best regards
Oh, if you could have seen so many tools my dad used to leave around the farm you might want to call the law. The weather can really hurt those things. Especially, when they get stuck in the mud.
I don't know why but I really love this photo. Maybe it expresses how I feel after I've been digging a little too much -- just dump the shovel and take a break!
LOL... I know the feeling to forget something.

Taking a break after hard work...
ReplyDeleteAn endless work.
ReplyDeleteThere's a thin man hiding behind the shovel.
ReplyDeleteGod bless.

...the shovel that I need this morning is my snow shovel.
ReplyDeleteIt looks quite ancient.
ReplyDeleteThe shovel is taking a break! Take care, enjoy your day!

"Now where'd I leave that", someone is wondering.
ReplyDeleteOff to have a break in the work, hopefully to return and either finish, or take his shovel home!
ReplyDeleteHi Bill.
ReplyDeleteThe shovel has done its job nicely.
Greetings from Patricia.

ReplyDeleteWonder where its owner is?

ReplyDeleteIt makes for a good shot, Bill.
ReplyDeleteThat shovel is taller than me.
ReplyDeleteHopefully the owner came and got before someone else did.
ReplyDeleteIt reminds me of when I was teaching and used photos as a prompt to get kids to write. The beat up shovel could tell a long story.
ReplyDeleteWho ever was doing the edging just got fed up and left. Your photo tells a good story.
ReplyDeleteProbably used there but it would be nice if they didn't forget it :)
ReplyDeleteHe went home for a cuppa tea.
ReplyDeleteBoa tarde. Parabéns pelo seu maravilhoso trabalho.
ReplyDeleteWobbly edging work.
ReplyDeleteDidn't anyone tell you? When you come across an unattended spade like that you're supposed to carry on with the work till someone else comes along.
Saludos
ReplyDeleteSo big! A good mystery, Bill... Returning from my break... 🤍

Enhorabuena.
.
Must be break time.
ReplyDeleteGenial fotografía. Te mando un beso.
ReplyDeleteBeautifully composed and shot!
ReplyDeleteSo long!!! Maybe its owner is very tall. ^ ^
ReplyDeleteA hard job, I usually do this at home
ReplyDeletegreat shot...
ReplyDeleteTypical. Maybe the shovel will do the work when the man is out of place long enough. :)
