  4. Mallards must be one of the best-adapted species as they seem to appear everywhere on the planet, in salt or fresh water, cold or hot weather: just everywhere! Well, ok, there are a few exceptions.

  5. I like ducks, but when we lived on a canal in Florida, they made such a mess on our sidewalks, it was impossible to keep them clean!

  13. As a youngster, we loved to go duck watching and feeding on trips away from home. Ducks just seem to have a calming effect when one is around them.

  15. Love the ducks, and the water of course. I grew up living at a lake and we had a white Pekin duck. I was just talking about her to someone yesterday. I miss her.
