  1. Looks a bit sad to me. But maybe only because we have a very nicely painted one around the corner... Have a nice Sunday, Bill. They said in the news it´s too cold for the season here! Brrr.

  4. To clarify for Tom: "creche" is a word used by the Royal Family to refer to a road traffic accident.

    1. It's milk. The milkman leaves the milk outside for the people to collect. It was a cool morning so it will stay cold for them.

  9. It's a long time since I've been on a slide ... unless you call falling down the stairs a slide!

    God bless.

  10. Obviously creche is a word used to indicate a day car centre (even one without children). I think of a creche as a group of sheep!

  12. Hi Bill, the grass looks so lush and green. We're in the throes of heat heat heat and you are expecting cold conditions. Be safe and keep warm. Jo

  13. And then...creche in my vocabulary (somewhat American) is just the manger scene at Christmas. I do like the wall along the drive...supposedly the kiddies will stay inside it.

  28. I had to read all the comments to see what was meant by “crèche” . It all makes me think of how The English language isn’t quite the same from country to country. (Actually sometimes even from state to state over here. )
