road construction
on our way to Donegal Town this past Tuesday morning. The road construction has been going on for months, they're widening the road and expanding other parts of it and expect to be finished before winter arrives. Looking at the clouds you'd think it was going to rain, it didn't.

ReplyDeleteOr the traffic cones are very high or you really took a low viewpoint but the sky looks really beautiful with those dutch mountains in the background.

ReplyDeleteRoad construction does always seem to take forever Bill, and then it's like it has always been there! Can't believe there wasn't any rain in those clouds!

ReplyDeleteI know that it is wise to stay abreast of needed repairs, but construction is the one summer activity that annoys me. It is endless and goes on all over the world, or so it seems.

ReplyDeleteThe streets in Connecticut are a mess, too. The construction period is short, so it all gets compressed into the late spring, summer and early fall.
