these are some of the rocks I see when I looking for sea glass that washes up on shore. I find them very amazing and I enjoy looking at them. The sea glass we used for crafty ideas. I find lots of clear glass and lately I've been finding green, brown, aqua, and blue. Red is very hard to find according to a source on sea glass that I read. Someday though...
I found this little tree like branch growing out of the rock. Very cool and I love the shadow it creates.
another shot of it from a different angle
abstract looking rocks, very smooth from the water flowing over them
some of the glass that I found. It's like winning a prize :)
Hi Bill, what beautiful rock and striata on them. The twig is an awesome find too. Thanks for sharing. Jo
ReplyDeleteAmazing items you find there, it looks almost like art!
ReplyDeleteThe struggle to grow in such an environment, amazing as are the pieces of glass. Great shots Bill.

You have a good eye for true natural beauty, Bill!
ReplyDeleteYou've treated us to a real art show today, Bill. What kind of branch grows out of a rock? That's almost scary! :) Love all those swirling formations in the rocks.
ReplyDeleteThat is amazing! I like those rocks. What a collection!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful- that third one especially!
ReplyDeleteBeach walks can yield some pretty amazing treasures Bill, love the glass bits that you find.. maybe one day you can show us what you create with them. Wonderful series of images
ReplyDeleteAll are beautiful, Bill! I love the shadow art especially.
ReplyDeleteI have looked for sea glass with no success. You struck sea glass gold in my book.
Some beautiful photos there. I've seen much worse exhibited in galleries.
ReplyDeleteI love art's nature, Bill, and these photos are stunning!
ReplyDeleteYou've made a great collection of abstract art here! Those rocks look like they would be fun to explore. The place I go in California for a few days every summer has a lot of volcanic rock at the edge of the see. It looks different than these rocks but still fun to explore.
ReplyDeleteThe rocks are amazing!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful works of art in nature. Good pictures.
ReplyDeleteHappy Sunday!
Good eye on these. Many people would walk by and not see the patterns.
ReplyDeleteAmazing. Life can indeed find its way almost anywhere.
