Easy enough on dry land!
Hi Bill.Always good first try everything on dry land.Groettie from Patricia.
And than going on that wide sea....
Yes but a real test is in the water.
Hi Bill, you caught these paddlers in action!
They take it very serious.
...the sky does not look inviting!
Never thought that the first lesson would be on dry land, but it makes sense.:)
I wonder if they went in the water that day. It looks like a cold day to chance falling in.
Fascinating shot, Bill. I like how the 'paddlers' are not in sync and that's what usually happens when they get in the water...at least the newbies do... But two people who know what they're doing are great fun to watch.
Always good to learn the fundamentals before you're even on the water.

I would be hopeless at that but, I hear it's very good exercise.
This somehow reminds me of a Monty Python skit! ;-))
I'm sure they'll have a lot of fun after this dry run!
I tried kayaking once, was extremely hard work on the upper part of my body but enjoyable.
I should have taken lessons from someone like that. We tried it, but it was so hard for me!!
Looks cold. I enjoyed kayaking the few times I did it. This summer I learned to stand up paddle board...now that is fun!!
Looks like they are going to war! Beautiful image!
Been there, done that. We donned wet suits and also practiced rolling in the water. That was bracing!
It does look a bit chilly!
Good colors for the gray water. I've been kayaking once or twice when traveling but you can't do much in the Mississippi's currents.
