  8. Cool! I wish we had that, too, or do I?
We have a small post office around the corner. The man knows me and even managed to get two little packages of Mon Cherié to Australia as a "letter" for me.
By myself I´d payed much more, plus we had a nice little chat!
People, machines, now what is better?

Icky weather here, but I´m off to the bakery soon. To a nice day, Bill!

  9. Something you don't find here but I am sure that it could fulfill a purpose for some people.

  11. Oh Bill! That is super nice! I was an active member of postcrossing, not sure if you heard of it but its a site that gives you random addresses of other members and when the ones you sent a postcard receives it, he/she would register it on the site and your address will be the next one drawn to another member and it was super fun! Now I cannot join because in the Philippines we don;t have mailboxes to drop our letters and stamps are only sold on the post office directly. When all this pandemic is over I would love to send you a postcard from the Philippines if is something that might make you happy :)

Stay safe and Happy new Week my friend Bill!

  14. Does it dispense real stamps, or digital bar code ones? I used a similar kiosk at my Post Office awhile ago, expecting to get a real stamp, but it gave me a digital bar code one instead. :-(

  15. Nice to be able to get stamps at any time of the day or night. But mail delivery service is so slow right now.

  16. I only ever buy stamps for Christmas cards these days. And considering the price of them I'm glad that's the case!

  17. That is nice and easy! Here I always have to buy a folder of 6 stamps if I don't always want to go to post office …

  20. I was about to say we could use one of these but, now our grocery stores sell stamps at the checkout so I guess we don't really need them.

  26. My town doesn't have a stamp machine, so I still hike to the post office. I'm a huge snailmail/postcard fan. I still use a lot of stamps and collect them.

  27. We had these machines in post offices somewhere I lived (mainly in SE USA) I like choosing the stamps by the images rather than the cost these days...there are usually a half dozen to choose from.

  28. Very handy, we do not have these machines in the Netherlands.
