  1. Wonderful views, Bill. Although I would not stand that close on the rock.

    God bless.

  2. I think only you men have so much patience for fishing!
    Lots of fun!
    Have a great Sunday, Bill!

  3. The river may look shallow to me but I will better be on the river itself than on those rocks because I am very much afraid of tripping or slipping. But that is such a beautiful sky above these patient fishermen :)

Happy Sunday my dear friend Bill!

  6. I hope they clean up their trash and do not leave strands of monofilament line waiting for birds to become entangled. I am sure there are responsible fishermen but slobs seem to make up a good percentage of them.

  8. Fishing started here on May 1st, late but welcome. It is hugely popular here and people who haven’t fished in a while are back at it. Two months of isolation will do that to some people. I don’t know how long I’d have to be in isolation to resort to fishing to get out of the house. Not two months though. It looks so relaxing in these scenes.

  13. For some reason, the second pic allows me to imagine life in your little village. Hope they brought home dinner.

  17. It is a good excuse to stand by a river and relax. Catching anything is just a bonus!

  18. We have seen people fishing in the river near our apt and have spoken to them. It seems it's just the act and activity of being outside and not the actual catching anything that maters to most of them, especially now. Do you also go fishing, Bill?

  20. Looks chilly. A few people around here fish in the Mississippi but more in stocked lakes in parks. I'm sure tour rivers are cleaner.

  22. The spring fishing season is underway. It is something we can do to get outside and still enjoy social distancing. Never thought actually catching fish was an important part of this activity.

  26. We used to fish the farm ponds a lot when we were kids. We never ate a single one of the fish- it was catch and release-they were bullheads and kept the ponds clean. lol

  27. I think for many a fisherman it's not the fishing but being out in a beautiful spot on a nice day. What a nice combination of space, time, and nature.
