For the last six weeks we weren’t allowed to be more than 2km away from our home for exercise purposes. A few days ago the restriction was updated to 5km. Also, people 70 and older were allowed outside after cocooning for the same period. We celebrated by taking a longer walk. :)
some kind of river plant
The rules are a bit strange, but the outcome is beautiful!
ReplyDeleteA bit sun here, off to the city, soon, a nice day to you, Bill!
Thank you Bill for these cheerful photos today.

It must have been so nice to go for a longer walk Bill, lovely views here today 💙
ReplyDeleteNice to make such a walk. Not much risk of getting covid there I think,
ReplyDeleteA fine celebratory excursion. Your plant is Bogbean - a less than pretty name for an attractive plant.
ReplyDeleteHa Bill, dat is mooi Bill, wat is vrijheid toch mooi, Hier bij ons wordt het nu ook ietsjes soepeler.
ReplyDeleteGroet Kees en blijf gezond, let goed op je zelf.
And I am sure that the freedom to walk at will was greatly appreciated.

Longer walk means more to see. Love the river photos. Is it too cold to swim out there yet? It looks refreshing.

ReplyDeleteAll the best Jan
Hi Bill! How wonderful to see your part of the world. Ireland is one place we have been wanting to go to but haven’t yet managed. We will though. Both my sister-in-law and daughter-in-law are Irish and Scots Irish. My son and daughter-in-law spent several months working on Lambay Island.
ReplyDeleteI love walking along a river.
ReplyDeleteYour photos are beautiful.
Lovely blues!
ReplyDeleteI'm sure that walk felt wonderful. We're again allowed back into the park across from our home. Spending time outdoors feels like a gift to the soul.
ReplyDeleteI bet it was the best walk in a long, long time! Thanks for sharing it with us, your photos are awesome to see.
