Much prettier than the sweaty, swearing young men who usually occupy such spaces. If all that seed germinates there'll be quite a show of dandelions there soon.
Hello, the field looks lonely, waiting for the players to come out. The bees must have been happy with all the dandelions. Enjoy your day, wishing you a happy new week!
I liked the way you played that--the pitch of the roofs, the "pitch" of the land, and of course the field. Looks like a lot of good salad greens there, although maybe past their prime since the dandelions have already bloomed. Nice photos.
Oh how peaceful! I love the flowers that are sprouting on them but I'm sure if these are used for sports those would have been absent there right? Happy new Week my friend Bill!
I just realized how team sports teaches children how to work together, follow rules, and compete with others. If this isolation goes on much longer, these skills will need to be rejuvenated. Of course the adults may still remember how to to it! Maybe.
… and so beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI love the quiet!
Have a nice week ahead, Bill!

Looks like it is not used for some time now.
ReplyDeleteYes, sad sight. It should be full with running youngsters playing with the ball.

ReplyDeleteMy thoughts too ... dandelions!!!
ReplyDeleteGod bless, Bill.
The field looks nice, but too empty for its actual purpose.
ReplyDeleteToo quiet.

Tardará un tiempo en que se puedan reanudar los entrenemientos de este deporte, es peligroso los contactos físicos entre los jugadores.
ReplyDeleteBesos

Looks quiet. Very similar to the playgrounds and fields near me - no kids playing, laughing or even crying.
ReplyDeleteWhat is growing in the grass?
ReplyDeleteEerily quiet …
ReplyDeleteLets hope the children (and adults) can come and play again soon.
All the best Jan
That's a lot of dandelions and lots more for next year!
ReplyDeleteEverything here is empty, too.
ReplyDeleteLove the lush green.
ReplyDeleteIt looks very big and very lonely.
ReplyDeleteYes it's much the same here, they are talking about easing sports restrictions here next week once we go into level 2 on Thursday.
ReplyDeleteLooks dandelions take over the field and it would be a task to weed off all!
ReplyDeleteIt looks a bit desolate
ReplyDeleteDandelions sure can invade a space quickly!
