unoccupied

on a walk a few weeks ago, I came across these unoccupied houses.  My guess it that the work was never finished on them.  It's a shame because there are lots of families who are in need of a place to call home.

  1. They look lovely. Some of the windows up front seem to be boarded up and not completed. Shame.

    God bless.

  2. It looks as though the builders might have run out of money, such a shame if they are not completed and occupied.

  3. Sad. These houses look so beautiful.
And yes, too many have to live on the streets or are "stuck" with their families.
You made me remeber how lucky we are to have a condo. 80m² we can call home! Some neighbours are brats ;-)... but we are lucky after all.
A happy day to you, Bill. Sunny here.

  4. Maybe the builder went bankrupt. Maybe we need serious population reduction. Maybe a worldwide pandemic!

  5. They look rather fisnished, only the pavement has to be made....

  6. The houses looks indeed good from the outside but miscalculations are easy made in building projects as I can know. (Did it the last 10 years for my profession).Lucky for me I was always in the marge of 8% plus or minus and I was the controller for the calculations made by the contractors making our designs.

  12. A sad thing to look at, though insides may not have much finishing, but as long as the roofs are intact, maybe someone can buy them and finish them, then sell them at today's market value...which has probably increased since they shut down. An investment opportunity!

  17. Isn’t that crazy! The same sort of thing happens here in Florida, we try to figure out why. Some kind of tax scam or something?

  20. Perhaps the developer ran out of money? No telling why they are empty.
