on a walk a few weeks ago, I came across these unoccupied houses. My guess it that the work was never finished on them. It's a shame because there are lots of families who are in need of a place to call home.
Sad. These houses look so beautiful. And yes, too many have to live on the streets or are "stuck" with their families. You made me remeber how lucky we are to have a condo. 80m² we can call home! Some neighbours are brats ;-)... but we are lucky after all. A happy day to you, Bill. Sunny here.
The houses looks indeed good from the outside but miscalculations are easy made in building projects as I can know. (Did it the last 10 years for my profession).Lucky for me I was always in the marge of 8% plus or minus and I was the controller for the calculations made by the contractors making our designs.
Hello, they look like nice homes from the outside. I hope someone comes and does the renovations. Stay safe and healthy, stay calm and happy. Enjoy your day, have a great week!
A sad thing to look at, though insides may not have much finishing, but as long as the roofs are intact, maybe someone can buy them and finish them, then sell them at today's market value...which has probably increased since they shut down. An investment opportunity!
You are right in that there are those who could use housing, Bill. if you ever should learn the reason for this uncompleted construction, please share if the builder did run out of money or ???
They look lovely. Some of the windows up front seem to be boarded up and not completed. Shame.
ReplyDeleteGod bless.
It looks as though the builders might have run out of money, such a shame if they are not completed and occupied.

Maybe the builder went bankrupt. Maybe we need serious population reduction. Maybe a worldwide pandemic!
ReplyDeleteThey look rather fisnished, only the pavement has to be made....

ReplyDeleteIsn’t that crazy! The same sort of thing happens here in Florida, we try to figure out why. Some kind of tax scam or something?
ReplyDeleteThey seem quite finished, at least from the outside.
ReplyDeletetoo bad the houses look beautiful
ReplyDeletemaybe the rent became too expensive
or that they went bankrupt
Perhaps the developer ran out of money? No telling why they are empty.
ReplyDeleteLooks like some nice houses. I thought too that the builder ran out of money.
ReplyDeleteSuch an unusual sign to see these days.
ReplyDeleteShame, they look nice houses.
ReplyDeleteAll the best Jan
What a waste of housing for people.
ReplyDeleteKind of spooky 👻
Loved the 1st pic. Shame that they are unoccupied.
ReplyDeleteThat is awful! I wonder if the developer went broke? Such a shame for them to just sit empty 🙁
ReplyDeleteWhat a terrible shame! I know it doesn't tell the whole story but with all that exterior finish they look move-in ready.
ReplyDeleteThe builders must have run out of money.
