Not something I have to do any more, though I never minded mowing my mother's lawn as she always appreciated it and sat outside reading in the summer months.
Beautiful green grass there. Lawn service is considered an essential business here in Connecticut US, so they will remain open during the Connecticut Lock Down that started at 8pm last night. There are actually quite a few businesses that are essential, so the Lock Down won't be as draconian as I had imagined it would be.
What a beautiful view you gave us today. I am happy to see the outdoors through your blog and also the grass he is mowing looks very green and healthy!
Interesting that we have a very beautiful scene and the small lawnmower man is picked out in the photo. However, he's the reason that this is such a pleasant scene.
Quite a job there! But it looks rather sterile...
ReplyDeleteBut sunny, so, have a great day, Bill!
Make me glad that I eliminated my lawn many years ago. Mowing is mind numbing work to maintain green sterility.
ReplyDeleteLovely photo Bill.
ReplyDeleteBlue sky, green grass and water...perfect 💮

ReplyDeleteIn any case a good exercise for the homeowner.
ReplyDeleteWe have to keep busy!
ReplyDeleteLooking good... he is doing a fantastic job.

...and he is keeping his social distance.
ReplyDeleteI imagine the occupants have a great view over the lawn and out over the water.
ReplyDeleteLoved this sight! Beautifully captured.
ReplyDeleteMowing grass already?
ReplyDeleteSpring really has arrived!

ReplyDeleteI love to check in on your daily photos. I can just smell the freshly cut grass. Our grass is just starting to get green in northern Indiana.
ReplyDeletePrachtige huizen daar bill aan de waterkant.
ReplyDeleteGroet kees en blijf gezond.
He did a great job. The grass looks great.
ReplyDeleteThat's a lot of work.
ReplyDeleteThat looks like a fine day in Ireland! Wish I was there.
ReplyDeleteYou would expect someone with such a lawn to have a ride-on mower.
ReplyDeleteIn the worrying times of today, that scene is somehow so normal!
ReplyDeleteI like it.
All the best Jan
It looks like a nice day to be out in the garden.
ReplyDeleteHe's doing a good job, those lawns look well looked after.
ReplyDeleteTake care, be safe.
No more lawn mowing for me now that we live in the woods.
ReplyDeleteNice Photo.
He's doing an excellent job there Bill ✨
ReplyDeleteSoon my season of it starts in the garden
