butcher shops

there used to be three and now there's one.  This butcher passed away and his family ran it for a year or two.  They closed the shop at the end of last year.

  2. It is sad that small family firms like butchers, greengrocers and ironmongers are closing down. I guess we are all guilty in some way by going to the supermarket.

    God bless.

  7. The old time butcher shops are disappearing but we have trendy butcher shops opening here that are quite expensive for most people.

  8. That's sad that the shop closed. When my husband was in school, he worked part time at a butcher shop and gained a lot of knowledge.
    Have a nice weekend.

  18. Always unfortunate to see a family business close. I wonder if it just wasn't for them or the economy.
