there used to be three and now there's one. This butcher passed away and his family ran it for a year or two. They closed the shop at the end of last year.
It is sad that small family firms like butchers, greengrocers and ironmongers are closing down. I guess we are all guilty in some way by going to the supermarket.
That's sad that the shop closed. When my husband was in school, he worked part time at a butcher shop and gained a lot of knowledge. Have a nice weekend.

The old time butcher shops are disappearing but we have trendy butcher shops opening here that are quite expensive for most people.
