A very necessary resource in this age of renewable energy. I remember when the EcoTech Centre in Norfolk was the only place I knew with a wind turbine; now they're everywhere, even out at sea.
Wonderful photo and I did a search on "Wind Turbine Training Tower" to find out more information on it. (I never knew about such a thing.) Very interesting. (I also like your blog header photo. I think you might have changed it recently.)
It's the way of the future Bill. Btw, I'm swooning over your new header shot, I looooove every single bit of it, definitely one of those I wish I'd taken it shots 💙
Love your header pic, Bill! Wind turbines seem to be popping up everywhere but here there is a real backlash against them - people claim the they give them headaches and give them diseases. There doesn't seem to be any evidence but who knows.

ReplyDeleteHello, Very interesting and a great photo. I've been meaning to tell you how beautiful your header photo is too. Have a nice weekend.
ReplyDeleteA pretty high tower, I suppose there are enough winds there :)!
ReplyDeleteWonder if it is a blow off chimney for the by wind generated airstream in the turbine.
ReplyDeleteLooks very impressive.
ReplyDeleteGod bless.
Uma bela fotografia.
ReplyDeleteUm abraço e bom fim-de-semana.

...training for the future!
ReplyDeleteA little plump-fluffiness does wonders for a cloud bank.
ReplyDeleteHello, the wind turbine tower looks interesting and different. Great skywatch shot! Enjoy your day! Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteThat's interesting knowing about this! Wind and solar energy are our future generators.
ReplyDeleteSuch a lovely spring day with the grass so green.

ReplyDeleteLove those dark bottomed clouds.
ReplyDeleteThey always remind me of flying saucers :)
The street lights add to this look~
It certainly stands out in this scene.
ReplyDeleteThat's quite a distinctive landmark. A great reference point when you're traveling in the area!
ReplyDeleteA great resource for renewable energy.
ReplyDeleteIt certainly a prominent landmark, as Spare Parts and Pics says. I love your header, Bill. Have a great evening. Jo

ReplyDeleteI"m glad to told me what it was, I wouldn't have had a clue otherwise. Nice shot
ReplyDeleteInteresting shot. And I love your header photo.
ReplyDeleteThis is sort of an enigma to me; I find myself wondering how a wind turbine training tower is used.
ReplyDeleteA good skywatch picture :)
