a field in Glenties, Co. Donegal
I believe we're due to see some of those skies in the next few days, though precious little sun to provide the necessary contrast.
Oh those heavy leaden November skies! Nice to see the contrast in your photo Bill and its good to look on the bright side!
Had that same sky yesterday.
What a beautiful backdrop...a truly GREY sky and not a cloud to be seen!
That sun is false, in a minute you will have a thunderstorm wit heavy rains!! This looks so familar as our weather at the moment!
...the sky looks like home.
That’s a beauty for sure! Great photo, Bill!
Hi Bill.Wonderful this photo with the threatening air.Groettie from Patricia.
In Florida, such a sky would be the signal to get thyself to safety and it signifies the possibility of tornadoes. And we don't have basements here for the most part, so that means huddling together in a small enclosed area. It's a great photo, though, with the darkness and light!
Oh la! That sky is incroyable Bill, looks like trouble ahead ☺ The light under this kind of sky is one of my favourites!
Darks sky with some sunlight lighting up the yard and house. Good eye!
It also makes a gorgeous photo. It certainly looks like rain was on the way.
What a light !
What a wonderfully dramatic sky!
Very nice! I love a moody sky, especially with the sun on the house.
Love the blue sky. That house is so cozy looking, and I love the trees and bushes/.
Rain on the way!
But then down on Earth everything is bright!!
I love skies like that. This time of year we get them more frequently in Washington. As you note, it highlights those other colors to beautiful effect.
yes the red really stands out, what sort of bush is it anyway?
Unfortunately, I don't know what kind of bush that is.
I like the colors
Love the light, the dark, the shadow and the colours in this photograph. They work so well togetherAll the best Jan
Beautiful light 😊
