  2. I recently noticed a couple of kids here with homemade kites. Maybe they, or their parents more likely, are starting to rebel against these outrageous costs.

  12. ... a friend of mine had several hundred bubble gum machines around town. The gum balls were 25 cents. I asked him if the machines were profitable and all he said was that the gum balls cost him 2 cents! Thanks Bill for stopping by, enjoy your day.

  18. Not a bubble gum customer, but wouldn't mind the hat the mannequin is wearing. My kids (and grands) of a certain age would always pester me to go riding on any little ride. I guess I gave in a few times!

    Some restaurants will raise their prices when they reopen. One Toronto restaurant already confirmed that is raising their prices by 15 per cent.
