  1. That cream phone "breaks my heart"! Our old orange phone sits in the living room and is treasured.
    Sweet memories.
The bikes look still good, too!
Here it´s sunny (but your temps, only 14C). Have a great day, Bill.

  2. Hello,
It is amazing the amount of stuff we have to recycle. Great photo for the theme! Take care, enjoy your day!

  3. Hay algunos elementos antiguos, que ya son piezas de museo. Ese teléfono, podria ambientar alguna película relativa en otra época.

  4. What do you mean, "everything else has a price"? Do you have to pay to re-cycle your stuff there?

Over here, everything you re-cycle is free. Except if you are a trader, like a builder, painter, plumber etc ... throwing away rubble, paint cans or old sinks and pipes etc ...

    Thanx Bill. God bless.

    1. Recycling is free here too but there are prices for large items of furniture, mattresses and carpets. Price depends on the size of the items.

  5. You wonder how much of that stuff will eventually wind up in the landfill. The amount of junk we produce is staggering.

Separating waste is not bad at all, I participate too!

  7. We went to a recycle, garbage combination here recently. Strange to see huge TVs left out in the weather. The bikes caught my eye in your photos.

  8. It's amazing to me that so much is thrown away. I've been trying to recycle as much as I can, but some stuff just has to go to garbage, makes me sad that I am contributing to the problem.

  10. We throw away an incredible amount of stuff. Technology keeps making perfectly good things obsolete.

  13. At least it is to be recycled and not just ending up in the garbage dump.

  14. Bill - I am glad to see that people are willing to pay a price to have things re-cycled again, rather than just throwing it down a random hillside or dumping it along a highway!

  20. Familiar bits from the past. I hope those things do manage to get recycled. I hate that so much good stuff becomes obsolete.
