There is not much more of that, Bill. It actually strikes me that it seems as if all the buildings are scattered a bit randomly across the landscape from your point of view
A pretty scene, probably more so than when the mill was functioning. They obviously didn't overdo the windows when building that mill, must have been rather gloomy working inside.
Great shot across the water to see all those buildings on the hill...as well as a new one, and then someone's camper down near the water...whether river or bay.
Hi Bill.
ReplyDeleteNice that they monitor this.
And it looks like keeping up well.
Greetings from Patricia.
Uma bela fotografia.
ReplyDeleteUm abraço e bom fim-de-semana.

It's good they're still standing. Part of history.

Looks like a peaceful spot.

What a lovely setting!
ReplyDeleteFine, old stone buildings, and also some new construction in the background. Wonder if those new buildings will still be there in later centuries?
ReplyDeleteThese stone buildings are so beautiful in their simplicity.
ReplyDeleteI really love the header shot, Bill!
Great new header or have I been missing something for a long time?
ReplyDeleteI haven't seen stone mills for a while. We have a few in Portugal.

All the best Jan
Lovely landscape. The stone building on the right looks so pretty with a smaller one abutting it.
ReplyDeleteJust imagine the times back then... our mill is for "kids" who lost it. How purposes change...
ReplyDeleteStill standing tall, nice scene.
ReplyDeleteHola Bill, muy bonito, esta muy bien que se cuiden estas cosas, me gustan los molinos, feliz fin de semana.
