flooded

the trail on the river walk flooded from the rain the last two days making it inaccessible.  Two people were headed back out when I came in and told me that I wouldn't get through to the other side.  So, I had to continue a little ways before I came up to it and took the photo.  I'm hoping it will be gone when I go back.

  2. Hi Bill.

That is difficult if you suddenly cannot continue.
    Hope it dries up soon.

    Greetings from Patricia.

  4. Don't kid yourself water tends to hang around when it floods like that

  5. There are heavy (tropical) rains these days here too, with damage and floodings.

  6. You must have had a lot more rain than we've had further south. No paddling to be had down here.

  7. Tuvo que llover en abundancia, para que se inundara.

Después de largos meses de sequía, para el jueves hay previsto lluvia por el sur.

  14. Well, that made that a bit of a shorter walk, didn't it? I have not gone to walk by water in a month...not that we have floods, but often the paths are washed away into the lake.

  15. It took me a minute to see what was going on. Yes the trail is under a lot of water. Very pretty area.

  18. It made a good picture! The people you met probably wondered why you ignored their helpful advice! I’m glad you did. We could use some of your rain. Hope your Oregon daughter is safe from fire and smoke.

  20. Nice of them to warn you! Too bad the world couldn't balance out the rain and send some to the western US.

  22. Soggy! Much of the U.S. West would be happy for a bit of rain.

  24. Bill - inconvenient to have your walk cut short. You could send some of that water over here if you like - it could douse some of our wild fires and dampen the smoke!
