the trail on the river walk flooded from the rain the last two days making it inaccessible. Two people were headed back out when I came in and told me that I wouldn't get through to the other side. So, I had to continue a little ways before I came up to it and took the photo. I'm hoping it will be gone when I go back.
Oh gosh, a good way to get your feet wet.ReplyDelete
That is difficult if you suddenly cannot continue.
Hope it dries up soon.
Greetings from Patricia.
Still ... a wonderful photo though.ReplyDelete
God bless, Bill.
Don't kid yourself water tends to hang around when it floods like thatReplyDelete
Uma bela fotografia.ReplyDelete
Um abraço e boa semana.

There are heavy (tropical) rains these days here too, with damage and floodings.ReplyDelete
Time for the hip waders.ReplyDelete
You must have had a lot more rain than we've had further south. No paddling to be had down here.ReplyDelete
Tuvo que llover en abundancia, para que se inundara.ReplyDelete
Después de largos meses de sequía, para el jueves hay previsto lluvia por el sur.
You must have had some heavy rain, I hope you were wearing boots.
Take care, have a great day!
Looks like you had buckets of rain, not mere drizzle.ReplyDelete
Fresh Water Brings New Adventures - Excellent Shot Mr BillReplyDelete
Mother Nature seems to at war with us, It's a changing world out there.ReplyDelete
...I know that it happens, but it has been so dry that it's hard to remember.ReplyDelete
Bill it looks so relaxing there! I wish you can take me there right now, I'll bring some books and beers :)ReplyDelete
Well, that made that a bit of a shorter walk, didn't it? I have not gone to walk by water in a month...not that we have floods, but often the paths are washed away into the lake.ReplyDelete
It took me a minute to see what was going on. Yes the trail is under a lot of water. Very pretty area.ReplyDelete
That's quite a puddle Bill, could you send some of your rain my way please 😊ReplyDelete
That looks a little puddle to drain soon and I would love walking through it.ReplyDelete
It made a good picture! The people you met probably wondered why you ignored their helpful advice! I’m glad you did. We could use some of your rain. Hope your Oregon daughter is safe from fire and smoke.ReplyDelete
Sorry the water blocked you from continuing your walk, but it sure did make a pretty picture!ReplyDelete
That's a lot of water.ReplyDelete
Looks like an australian billabong.ReplyDelete
Nice of them to warn you! Too bad the world couldn't balance out the rain and send some to the western US.ReplyDelete
No walking there but makes for a good picture.ReplyDelete
Soggy! Much of the U.S. West would be happy for a bit of rain.ReplyDelete
Hope it does drain off into the ground soon.ReplyDelete
Bill - inconvenient to have your walk cut short. You could send some of that water over here if you like - it could douse some of our wild fires and dampen the smoke!ReplyDelete
