giant boots

we were in Dungloe yesterday and we had some time to kill so we took a stroll through the river walk.  Not far from the entrance, these giant boots came across our path.  What's up with that, we wondered.  The next few days, I'll show you what we found out. :)

Happy St. Patrick's Day

you can join the fun at the River Walk, it's all ready for the big day.  We walked it yesterday and was surprised at the job people did to create this fun excursion for the families and their kids.

Let's take the tour and see what we find.  First, the sign that greets you at the entrance, it tells you what you will find and see.  Make sure you to look for these items as you walk.

a good luck fairy lives here

some daffodils decorate the leprechaun's front garden

and here is the elusive pot of gold at the end of the rainbow

Now we reached the end of our walk.  Hope you enjoyed it, I'm off to check out the pot of gold. :)

theme day - smile

rock art seen on the river walk last week.  Cheers up the walkers who pass by it.  I believe it is done by kids.  School is closed right now and they don't know when it will reopen.
