That cream phone "breaks my heart"! Our old orange phone sits in the living room and is treasured.Sweet memories. The bikes look still good, too! Here it´s sunny (but your temps, only 14C). Have a great day, Bill.
Hello,It is amazing the amount of stuff we have to recycle. Great photo for the theme! Take care, enjoy your day!
Oh, wow! Real phones! :-)
Hay algunos elementos antiguos, que ya son piezas de museo. Ese teléfono, podria ambientar alguna película relativa en otra época.Besos
What do you mean, "everything else has a price"? Do you have to pay to re-cycle your stuff there? Over here, everything you re-cycle is free. Except if you are a trader, like a builder, painter, plumber etc ... throwing away rubble, paint cans or old sinks and pipes etc ...Thanx Bill. God bless.
Recycling is free here too but there are prices for large items of furniture, mattresses and carpets. Price depends on the size of the items.
Thanx Bill.God bless.
The world has become a dumpside...
You wonder how much of that stuff will eventually wind up in the landfill. The amount of junk we produce is staggering.
So many memories had surfaced when I saw the dial phone! The old good days! Separating waste is not bad at all, I participate too!
We generate so much of waste!
We went to a recycle, garbage combination here recently. Strange to see huge TVs left out in the weather. The bikes caught my eye in your photos.
It's amazing to me that so much is thrown away. I've been trying to recycle as much as I can, but some stuff just has to go to garbage, makes me sad that I am contributing to the problem.
Such treasures going into recycling...and probably they don't work any more...but it does make me sad.
We throw away an incredible amount of stuff. Technology keeps making perfectly good things obsolete.
Garbage is such a huge worldwide problem. It's sad the amount of waste we humans produce.
We sure do throw away a lot of stuff. Nice that some of it is reused again.
At least it is to be recycled and not just ending up in the garbage dump.
Bill - I am glad to see that people are willing to pay a price to have things re-cycled again, rather than just throwing it down a random hillside or dumping it along a highway!
Waste from the garden is free here as well.
They don't make phones like that anymore.
Lot os stuff there----some even look good. Now my fingers are getting itchyMB
We have the same system here as wellWe throw a lot of things today against the past
Nice collection Bill.
I miss those dialed phones!
Familiar bits from the past. I hope those things do manage to get recycled. I hate that so much good stuff becomes obsolete.
People sure do get rid of a lot of stuff don't they? We aren't charged for anything we take to the recycle center.
I would love that yellow phone :)
Looks like a place for everything Bill, good idea ✨
Pretty old things and i like that dial phone.
The things people throw out.All the best Jan
Bummer On The Bikes For Sure As You Remember My Disc Golf Basket Made Of Bicycles - Those Phones Crack Me Up As The Younger Generation Have No Clue As To Operations Of A Rotary Dial Phone - You Have Been Taking Some Great Shots As I Have Been Catching Up Here - Well Done Mr BillCheers
We only pay to dispose of batteries and tires.
