you can always tell when holiday time comes around, the glass recycle bins are all full. It should be back to normal tomorrow when the recycle truck comes by and empties the containers.
The Irish Rovers said it best in their song "Wasn't That A Party"... Could have been the whiskey, might have been the gin. Could have been three or four six-packs, I don't know, but look at the mess I'm in, My head is like a football, I think I'm gonna die, Tell me, me oh me oh my, Wasn't that a party?
Ha Bill, veel rommel maar wel 'n mooie foto, alweer goed gevonden. Misschien moet de reinigingsdienst wat vaker rond rijden tijdens vakantie tijden. HiHi. Groet kees.
reminds me of after the weekends years ago when we lived in student housing! Although the senior citizens here in our winter resort do a pretty good job of contributing empties (it just gets cleaned up faster).
If only we got paid a penny for every bottle we returned ...
ReplyDeleteGod bless.

What is your take on this Bill?
ReplyDeleteIs this a weekly look or did it occur because of New Years?

I'm glad that all didn't go into the trash. I don't suppose the recycling workers are very cheerful after the holidays.
