The Irish Rovers said it best in their song "Wasn't That A Party"... Could have been the whiskey, might have been the gin.Could have been three or four six-packs,I don't know, but look at the mess I'm in,My head is like a football, I think I'm gonna die,Tell me, me oh me oh my,Wasn't that a party?
Oh this is horrible, we see the same happen here too.
Looks like people hit it hard on booze going to the new year.
Certainly gives the world a glimpse into Irish consumption.
my same thought Tom . . .
Looks like there was a lot of celebrating done during the holiday season, or is the norm, Bill?
Hi Bill. That's how much rubbish people make.Groettie from Patricia.
What is your take on this Bill?Is this a weekly look or did it occur because of New Years?
Oh yes! There would have been many celebration drams drunk over that period Bill 😉
Hello Bill. That’s a lot of rubbish indeed! You can see it here during the holiday season!Have a happy new week!Dimi...
Lots of thirsty people.

They have a lot to clean up before they can get to the containers.
It must have been a very jolly Christmas and New Years!!
It happens every Christmas season - lots of paper and boxes!
Ha Bill, veel rommel maar wel 'n mooie foto, alweer goed gevonden. Misschien moet de reinigingsdienst wat vaker rond rijden tijdens vakantie tijden. HiHi. Groet kees.
Lots of partying must have been going on! Your recycle bins look very different than ours.
At least the excess is organized.
They are being used anyway. MB
I'm glad that all didn't go into the trash. I don't suppose the recycling workers are very cheerful after the holidays.
At least they are recycling!
It happens here that the recycling boxes get filled up fast too.
Bill - wish I had been invited to THAT party! Happy New Year to you!
reminds me of after the weekends years ago when we lived in student housing! Although the senior citizens here in our winter resort do a pretty good job of contributing empties (it just gets cleaned up faster).
… always good when things get back to normal. Our neighbourhood bins for bottles, bags and recycling have been quite full too!All the best Jan
Jeepers! Looks like Washington, D.C. during our shutdown. :-)
