the old village tea room

in Mountcharles.  I haven't been in there but heard it's good and they have great homemade cakes if you like them.

  1. Can't be all like the Willow tearoom in Glasgow. ( I know its Scotland not Ireland).

  4. It looks as though three hungry cycle-tourists have beaten you to it. There won't be many cakes left!

  20. The best tea and tea rooms I've been in were in Ireland. Barry's Gold tea and cheese sandwiches were the standard fare but I'm always happy to try cake. Or scones.
