a field in Glenties, Co. Donegal
it makes a nice street ! :)
St. Patrick's Day is also a day of celebration here in Canada. ♫
Yes, but where's the loo? That question will mean more to you when you check out my post for today which will be posted in a little over an hour. :))
Great work to do together, a pretty sight in the street. Hope the weather will improve for the parade!
Yay! Love that day!
...yep, it's that time of year!
Have a wonderful St Patrick's Day next week.God bless.
Oh! What fun!!!! I can only imagine what the celebration is like in Ireland ---can't get any more Irish than that!!!! xo Diana
Hi Bill.Nice that the rain does not keep them away to contribute to the decorations.Groettie from Patricia.
Hello Bill.Your pictures are very beautiful! The volunteers have decorated the street so beautifully! It’s going to be a great celebration on St Patrick’s Day!Wish i was there !Have a lovely week!Dimi...
The big day is getting close! I don't believe we have a parade in Phoenix. Too bad.
I hope the sun will be shining then :)
Somewhere in Ireland there is the warmest feeling of friendship. Because there are people who understand the meaning of life. Just like my friend Bill. Because he is creating a new kind of hope.I wish you a happy nea week my friend.Yannis Politopoulos
Gosh that's a lot of bunting Bill! I'm so envious of your first rainy shot there, oh what I would give for a rainy day 😊
The annual parade in celebration of Ireland's patron saint is today in Toronto. It started at noon.I went downtown to see the parade last year. Not today. : (
I love St. Patrick's Day!
It's that time of year! I hope you get shots.Ours was yesterday. I'll have a couple of posts later in the week.
Vai haver festa.Um abraço e bom Domingo.Andarilhar Dedais de Francisco e Idalisa Livros-Autografados
Should be a fun day!
Wonderful to see the preparations being made there for St. Patrick's Day. My Irish girlfriend who lives in Nashville, Tennessee USA will be attending festivities there. Thank you for your kind welcome back. We have both been under the weather for many weeks.
We had ours today and I'm still cold from the bitter wind that was blowing along the route. It was fun though!
It is amazing to me that St. Patrick’s Day has become an event to be celebrated the world over. There are ethnic neighbourhoods in Toronto, that have not even the vaguest connection to Ireland, that celebrate it. Amazing!
Fun times expected!Lovely shots!
It looks like the weather isn't going to stop them for fulfilling their obligations. I'm sure St. Patrick appreciates it.
oh, a parade. I'll pack my bag.
Almost celebration time! It's a big deal over here too. Lots of us with Irish heritage (or wanna-bes).
Hopefully there will be better weather.
