  7. Hi Bill.

Nice that the rain does not keep them away to contribute to the decorations.

  12. The annual parade in celebration of Ireland's patron saint is today in Toronto. It started at noon.

I went downtown to see the parade last year. Not today. : (

  14. Wonderful to see the preparations being made there for St. Patrick's Day. My Irish girlfriend who lives in Nashville, Tennessee USA will be attending festivities there. Thank you for your kind welcome back. We have both been under the weather for many weeks.

  15. We had ours today and I'm still cold from the bitter wind that was blowing along the route. It was fun though!

  16. It is amazing to me that St. Patrick’s Day has become an event to be celebrated the world over. There are ethnic neighbourhoods in Toronto, that have not even the vaguest connection to Ireland, that celebrate it. Amazing!

    Lovely shots!

  18. It looks like the weather isn't going to stop them for fulfilling their obligations. I'm sure St. Patrick appreciates it.
