Hello Bill. Your pictures are very beautiful! The volunteers have decorated the street so beautifully! It’s going to be a great celebration on St Patrick’s Day! Wish i was there ! Have a lovely week! Dimi...
Wonderful to see the preparations being made there for St. Patrick's Day. My Irish girlfriend who lives in Nashville, Tennessee USA will be attending festivities there. Thank you for your kind welcome back. We have both been under the weather for many weeks.
It is amazing to me that St. Patrick’s Day has become an event to be celebrated the world over. There are ethnic neighbourhoods in Toronto, that have not even the vaguest connection to Ireland, that celebrate it. Amazing!
it makes a nice street ! :)
ReplyDeleteSt. Patrick's Day is also a day of celebration here in Canada. ♫
ReplyDeleteYes, but where's the loo? That question will mean more to you when you check out my post for today which will be posted in a little over an hour. :))
ReplyDeleteGreat work to do together, a pretty sight in the street. Hope the weather will improve for the parade!
ReplyDeleteYay! Love that day!

ReplyDeleteHi Bill.

The big day is getting close! I don't believe we have a parade in Phoenix. Too bad.
ReplyDeleteI hope the sun will be shining then :)
ReplyDeleteGosh that's a lot of bunting Bill! I'm so envious of your first rainy shot there, oh what I would give for a rainy day 😊
ReplyDeleteThe annual parade in celebration of Ireland's patron saint is today in Toronto. It started at noon.
ReplyDeleteI went downtown to see the parade last year. Not today. : (
It's that time of year! I hope you get shots.
ReplyDeleteOurs was yesterday. I'll have a couple of posts later in the week.
Vai haver festa.
ReplyDeleteUm abraço e bom Domingo.

It looks like the weather isn't going to stop them for fulfilling their obligations. I'm sure St. Patrick appreciates it.
ReplyDeleteoh, a parade. I'll pack my bag.
ReplyDeleteAlmost celebration time! It's a big deal over here too. Lots of us with Irish heritage (or wanna-bes).
ReplyDeleteHopefully there will be better weather.
