is part of Swan Park in Buncrana. It is closed now due to flooding during one of the storms we had earlier. There's a lot of work to be done before it will open again to the public. As you walk through the trail, you see signs on little plaques identifying the different trees, leaves and plants. Also there are some for animal tracks. It's a very easy and nice walk. These photos were taken in the summer of 2016 on one of our trips to Buncrana. We're told we are going experience some crappy weather this week with snow, sleet or rain plus it's going to be colder. So this is a good time to show these summer images.

ReplyDeleteLooks like a very pleasant walk to me.
ReplyDeleteIt’s a treasure for sure, Bill. Hope it is restored quickly!
ReplyDelete...the 'signs of nature' are wonderful.
ReplyDeleteEverything about this place is appealing and you did a great job of showing its natural beauty. Hope that the weather forecast you mentioned is wrong!!
ReplyDeleteGreat photos, love the prints. My mother would have been able to read the signs, she told me she was taught Irish at school
ReplyDeleteWhat a delightful walk, wish I could see it in person.
ReplyDeleteLovely trail. May it reopen soon.
ReplyDeleteI fine walk.

A truly fascinating place to walk. There's so much of interest. Love that path heading down and the various "tiles" with the flora and fauna engraved on them. Hope the weather isn't too bad. I always hated bad weather this time of year!
ReplyDeleteCool way to show plants and animals. It would certainly attract attention.
ReplyDeleteA lovely and interesting area. Hopefully the weather will get better!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great place to explore. I hope it is opened up again for summer walking. Too bad about your weather. It seems like there are places where winter just doesn't want to let go.
ReplyDeleteYour shot of the badger prints tile is my favourite.
ReplyDeleteLooks like a neat place for a visit. I appreciate some summer photos...we need it here too!!
ReplyDeleteSuch a pretty place to visit. I'm sorry about the flooding there. We are having days and days of rain also. I am ready for sun.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great trill that is, Bill! I hope they are wrong about your weather!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful place.
ReplyDeleteMy favority photo is "Bindweed".
Have a Happy Easter.

Looks like a great spot - the signage is very creatively done.
ReplyDeleteA really pretty area to explore with super signage even children would enjoy finding & learning from!
ReplyDeleteWonderful.
ReplyDeleteWishing you a Blessed Easter.
God bless.
I really like that trail, Bill.
ReplyDeleteAn educational walk! Looks lovely!
ReplyDeleteIt looks like a very appealing place to walk. I hope it wasn't too badly damaged. And I hope, too, that your weather predictions prove wrong. Don't you think it would be nice around now to start getting some more springlike days?
ReplyDeleteVery nice. Lovely place too.
ReplyDeleteMy SIGNS, SIGNS
Great.
ReplyDeleteHope the trail opens soon. Looks like a nice informative outing.

Nice to remember summer when you are having to wait so long for spring this year. Those marker signs are great ...whether informative or whimsical they are beautifully done without detracting from the natural beauty of the trail.
ReplyDeleteI hope your weather is improving in time for Easter ... ours is heading in the wrong direction! So, I dearly enjoyed your sunny shots!
