When we were in Buncrana, we got a look at their coastal walk. It's so nice that these communities have places designed for people to walk without dealing with traffic. It is different from ours in Moville. Our shore line is very rocky where this is not but it fits in to their community well. They even have a workout station (see the 4th photo below). Ireland promotes walking and people do take advantage of the many opportunities to be out in nature. There are walking clubs and hill walker groups throughout the country where people can pay a small fee or join the group and participate with others who like to walk. Many towns, large and small, have some kind of walking trail built in to the landscape. Reading that signpost, I know we have lots more to explore. Heading out to a walk! Hope you all have a great weekend!
It's always nice to have a dedicated running/walking trail. And especially one with such nice views!

ReplyDeleteThe last one picture is amazing. Love it.
ReplyDeleteIt looks like you had a great day to be out for a stroll!
ReplyDeleteNice views but I'd have had to have turned right - I need to know what Fr Hegarty's Rock looks like!
ReplyDeletethe beach looks so inviting!
ReplyDeleteSo many choices! That last picture is stunning.
ReplyDeleteThis looks great. Always nice when you can walk along the coastline. We have a law forbidding anyone to build a house too close to the water so it is often possible to walk anywhere.
ReplyDeleteI love the coastline, and as Stefan in Sweden wrote, we have the same rule here in Norway.
ReplyDeleteNice images, many choices, but I think I would have started with the Swan Park.
HAPPY WEEKEND to you and yours.
Beautiful beach, love the light!
