Errigal is a 751-metre mountain near Gweedore in County Donegal, Ireland. It is the tallest peak of the Derryveagh Mountains and the tallest peak in County Donegal. Errigal is also the most southern and the highest of the mountain chain called the "Seven Sisters" by locals. Wikipedia
Your header photo of the mountain is wonderful. It looks so inviting. The rhododendrons look terrific all in bloom. Spring is such a great time of year.
Thank you Bill, what a beautiful photo this is. Especially the way it almost doesn’t look like a garden at all, but more like a scene or a picture with those rhododendrons. Between you and me, I find “rhododendrons” a terrible word to pronounce 😄 My tongue always gets tangled up in it. But I do think they are beautiful
Last week I visited a botanical garden not far from here, and I saw some truly amazing rhododendrons there with colours I had never seen before, and also some with twisted, almost sculptural trunks. You don’t usually see that in ordinary parks. I really loved seeing them and just wanted to tell you that.
Those are beautiful. Ours is just beginning to bloom.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! Saw some deep purple and white ones today when I walked past someone's garden.
ReplyDeleteBill bom dia, que maravilha contemplar essa magnífica foto, feliz sexta-feira abraços.
