  7. Oh, I hope they got overtime for that. These days with the holidays they go to painting the streets. There is always something to celebrate..somehow...anything to stop traffic.

  15. ... my big Advent and Christmas star still shines in the evening :-) and it looks so beautiful.
    I'm totally relaxed, because according to the old tradition, the Christmas season ends on Candlemas, this year on February 2nd.

  31. Now it's just Winter! We stayed one season in an RV Park near Mobile Alabama..they undecorated the hall after Christmas and immediately replaced everything with Mardis Gras and Valentine's (even the Christmas Trees). I always thought that would be a good idea for anywhere -- just keep the holiday spirit going until the weather got good again.
