As long as many people "need" a SUV, it seems to make sense. In rural areas, though, in rural areas I do even like single-track-roads with passing places now and then.
Good idea! I once in such a street had to drive backwards in the dark due to oncoming traffic I could not see - it was curvy, too. Never took that road again!
Sure has a backstreet feel to it.
ReplyDeleteVery narrow indeed. Wonder why it isn't a one way street already.
ReplyDeleteAnd where is the bridge?! It's a very old street indeed... Have a nice weekend, dear Bill. 🌟🐪🐪🐪
ReplyDeleteMonochrome photos are so nice.
ReplyDeleteGod bless.
Hello,
ReplyDeleteIt is a narrow street, especially having parked cars there too.
Take care, enjoy your day!
...I'm amazed that they allow two way traffic!
ReplyDeleteNarrow and very old.
ReplyDeleteYup... one-way would be best.
ReplyDeleteVery narrow indeed...

It seems these days the streets are getting narrower. Everyone has a car..or so it seems they have several. If it's not that..it's the potholes here.
ReplyDeleteNarrow but very tidy..
ReplyDeleteInteresting to see parking allowed in such a narrow lane.
ReplyDeleteThat seems like a very good idea!
ReplyDeleteLovely. Regine

It ought to be.
ReplyDeleteEs una buena idea. Los coches tendrán dificultad en cruzarse.
ReplyDeleteWould not want to meet another car coming the other way. Narrow streets look best in b&w.
ReplyDeleteStill a two way street?!!
ReplyDeleteIt was the last time I was there which was last year.
DeleteFoto maravilhosa meu querido amigo Bill. Bom final de semana.
ReplyDeleteIt looks like that might be a good idea.
ReplyDeleteThat's two ways??
ReplyDeleteYes it is.
DeleteThose black and white photos have something very special about Bill.
ReplyDeleteHappy weekend.
Happy New Year 2023
Best regards.
A good idea especially since there is parking there too, Bill.

ReplyDeleteGreat black and white shot. It is so narrow and should have been a one way lane
ReplyDeleteI can understand why they want to make it a one way street.
ReplyDeleteSeeing that it is so narrow a one way street may be a good idea!
ReplyDeleteAll the best Jan
That is a narrow street. More like an alley. We have a few of them here in my town.
ReplyDeleteNe recuerda algunas calles de Quito. Te mando un beso.

ReplyDeleteinteresting little street....
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful picture of the street
ReplyDeleteProbably a very good idea
ReplyDeleteIreland towns have these ridiculous narrow streets. It took some effort to learn to drive in Ireland.
ReplyDeleteGosto imenso das imagens a preto e branco! Excelente prespectiva!
ReplyDeleteUm grande abraço!
