in Letterkenny. Never seen this place with no people, it was eerie. All the benches that were here for sitting were removed. Tesco was the only place opened for groceries and it's behind me when I took this photo.
The malls and shopping centres and cinemas are closed after 6 months in my state from today following the uncontrolled pandemic. I see a sad face on those toys without kids to play with them. I hope your place is getting far better with the covid. Take care
Like Tom, I haven't been to a mall in a long, long time. Can't remember the last time, but at least 10 years. The stores here are always full of people these days. I just hope the virus doesn't ramp up again; people seem to think it's over.
I wish the shopping centers would be empty here as well. There is a curfew on the weekends but it is a complete disaster on weekdays.. Happy new week Bill:-)
I'd like to ride the red car.
ReplyDeleteGod bless.
Same here Bill. Looks very strange indeed.
ReplyDeleteYes. Same sad view here. Have a nice Sunday anyways - we have to live with this. Hopefully not much longer.
ReplyDeleteIt's a fairly universal sight these days, Bill.
ReplyDeleteYes is so strange to see all those empty places as if you are the only surviver.
ReplyDeleteReminds me that I'm not really missing much at all.
ReplyDeleteÉ mesmo assustador.
ReplyDeleteUm abraço e bom fim-de-semana.

The exact same lockdown is happening here.
ReplyDeleteHello,
ReplyDeleteIt is sad to see these areas so empty, like a ghost town. Happy Sunday, have a great new week!
The one mall here that is finally open has had more shooting this year than any other. Go figure. Oh, the fun we used to have in those red trucks!
ReplyDeleteHi Bill.
ReplyDeleteCrowds are not always pleasant, but this is sad
Greetings from Patricia.
That is very eerie!
ReplyDeleteThat's exactly how ours looks too. Most store are permanently closed now. It's sad.
ReplyDeleteSad but it has to be that way to defeat covid or covid will keep on controlling our society.
ReplyDeleteSame here.

ReplyDelete...I haven't been to a mall in years.
ReplyDeleteIt is a strange world we are living in, Bill!
ReplyDeleteA familiar sight. Looking forward to better times..

ReplyDeleteThe malls around here started looking like that BEFORE Covid. Malls seem to be dying here.
ReplyDeleteIt's much the same here.
ReplyDeleteI wish the shopping centers would be empty here as well. There is a curfew on the weekends but it is a complete disaster on weekdays.. Happy new week Bill:-)
ReplyDeleteHow much longer I wonder. Sad to see these places empty.
ReplyDeleteSe ve igual que en mi país, que otra vez nos toco el encierro. Te mando un beso y buena fotografía
ReplyDeleteLooks so strange! Sad to see empty places.
ReplyDeletesad moment everywhere....
ReplyDeleteYour header photo is nice.
ReplyDeleteGosh, not a sole insight.
Strange indeed! I can’t say when I was last in the mall here. A year maybe?
ReplyDeleteSuch a shame to see this Bill ✨
ReplyDeleteSó por estes dias os shoppings voltaram a abrir também! É tão estranho ver estes lugares vazios... Grata pela partilha! Um grande abraço!
