It’s funny to see that my reaction was the same as those who previously commented on the contrast between the condition of the boat and barn. I preferred the barn with it’s faded colors and rust.
Looks like the boat would do the job for fishing no problem. Your comment on my blog about finding people. I use family search which is free and the best I've found so far, alot easier though when you have birth, death and marriage certificates too. The only sides of the family I've found difficult to trace is the filipino side cos someone told fibs back then and the irish side who came from Monaghan.
The boat is in far better shape than the barn.
ReplyDeleteThe boat looks much better than the shed!
ReplyDeleteBoat's colors better than the barn.
ReplyDelete...and I think that the shed is a wonderful backdrop for the boat.
ReplyDeleteOh, I like these two together so much. Great composition!
ReplyDeleteOne can dream. A great day-dream to you, Bill.
ReplyDeleteThe rust just makes it more beautiful.

ReplyDeleteI wonder if the boat and the shed belong to the same person...
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful photo! I love the color of the old building behind the boat and the contrast is just fantastic!
ReplyDeleteIt looks groomed and ready to swim, waiting for the summer:-))
ReplyDeleteThe shed looks like it has seen a lot of years.
ReplyDeleteGreat combination of well tended new looking boat, and very old and shabby shed!
ReplyDeleteThe boat's in fine shape but the shed needs some work!
ReplyDeleteWhat a colorful combination.
ReplyDeleteSomeone's got their priorities right - better to have a leaking shed than a leaking boat.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautifully colourful composition Bill, the shed is a work of art in itself 💙💛
ReplyDeleteA lovely mix of colours. Well done, Bill.
