Bill - makes you wonder the story behind the placement of this sculpture ... my husband would groan if I happened to pass by it - he knows I would not rest until I found someone that could give me answers! Enjoy your coming weekend!
Uma intrigante estátua na bela paisagem. Gostei imenso! Há tanto por fazer neste mundo ainda... talvez seja por isso que a estátua não tem mãos... mas não sei se a opção do artista foi intencional, ou se a estátua sofreu vandalismo... Adorei as imagens! Sempre motivos bem interessantes a variados, a apreciar por aqui! Um grande abraço! Ana
Hi Bill.
ReplyDeleteNice Bill, it invites you to sit down next to it.
Greetings from Patricia.
Its a beautiful view from up there and gives a reason for thinking.
ReplyDeleteHe desperately is in the need of some friends.
ReplyDeleteHe looks very lonely there, needs a friend to sit with. Kind of wonder what the story is for it to be there..
ReplyDeletePoor fella, that! Give him a hand or two, huh?
ReplyDeleteVandalism without the hands? Or is it deliberately.
ReplyDeleteIt didn't look like vandalism. It's a mystery.
Delete...the world is filled with mysteries!
ReplyDeleteI like the top photo.
ReplyDeleteI wondered the same as Marianne.
ReplyDeleteHello,
ReplyDeleteNeat sculpture, there is a spot for you to sit down next to this mystery man.
Have a great day!
Oh, think of the stories he could tell. Very interesting find.
ReplyDeleteThe work of vandals, I assume. I hope the statue can be repaired.
ReplyDeleteOne wonders about the hands. Otherwise, nice sculpture.
ReplyDeleteHe looks as though he's had a hard life.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful statue.
ReplyDeleteGod bless.
Too bad he lost his hands. Hope he finds a pair.
ReplyDeleteNo hands. O I have hand. I will sit there and help him ;-)
ReplyDeleteOh dear he looks a wee bit sad Bill.. if the sculptor was local I'm sure he or she would have given a helping hand by now 😉
ReplyDeleteIt is so effective from behind in that top pic, Bill! I hope it gets repaired.
ReplyDeleteHe does look like he's had it rough. I wonder about the hands too.
ReplyDeleteHe's been waiting a very long time.
ReplyDeleteI sure like that first photo. It's sad that the hands were broken off. I wonder if there are plans to repair?
ReplyDeleteUnique sculpture. This statue has a pleasant view, and perhaps would not mind some company on that bench.
ReplyDeleteNeat way to get us into this sculpture. It's a surprise when you see the other side.
ReplyDeleteWhat a shame. Perhaps that can be fixed.
ReplyDeleteLooks like he has been waiting a while
ReplyDeleteReally mystery and why is he there :-))
ReplyDeleteLleva mucho tiempo esperando y más que le queda por esperar.
ReplyDeleteBesos
