the former corn mill complex, built c. 1870.  The white building in the rear is the Waterfront Hotel.

  17. Wow! 1870! That is exactly 150 years before now. And they still look strong and fortified as ever! Stone buildings are not very common here except from the northern islands of Batanes where storms and typhoons shaped the culture there. It was even dubbed as Ireland of the Philippines due to its beautiful stone houses built over rolling hills and seasides.
