:-) Reminds me of a pic I have here on the door. A mother owl looking down at her kid that has the eyes very wide open, capture: "when you accidentially say a curse word in front of Mum" :-) Have a nice day, Bill, cold but sunny here.
Hello, great capture of the Egret and Gull. I am glad you found this photo, Oregon is a lovely state to visit. Take care! Thank you for linking up and sharing your post. Happy Saturday, enjoy your weekend. PS, thanks for the comment on my blog.
I was just about to comment that I was amazed to discover that Great Egrets were present in Ireland and then I realized the picture was taken in Oregon!
Funny how animals communicate. I think you nailed this conversation! Our dogs can look at each other and know what each other is saying. It's weird but we see it over and over.
Fantastic photo Bill. These are one of my favorite birds to photograph. The beaches and parks near me in Connecticut US are closed, to enforce social distancing, so I can't go to my usual haunts to get Egret and Heron photos. :-(

ReplyDeleteI thought the same, though they are spreading northwards through the UK and it's no longer a surprise to see them in wetlands in my part of the world.

ReplyDeleteI wish I knew what was wrong with my site (and yours) with the missing photos. It is a bit frustrating.
