addition

looks like an addition is being constructed on this home.  The work seems to be stalled at this time, no workers or evidence of tenants.

obviously a new gate will be needed

and a pile of turf to be used

photos taken: 24/03 just before the lockdown on the 27th

  1. Hi Bill.

    Too bad it stands still.
It seems a nice place to live.

    Greetings from Patricia.

  2. Sad to see so much coming to a halt. Here in our grocery store I was surprised baskets were allowed again. And people kept the distance at the cash out anyways - sadly only there...
Warm and sunny here - hope in your place, too, have a great day, Bill :-)

  4. Much still to be done. Maybe they ran out of money. It boggles the mind that peat is still being burned.

I was very surprised at the interesting heating options in Ireland. But I think it takes a lot of work ...

  14. Great photos Bill. The addition matches the original architecture, and looks good. Housing construction is still allowed here in Connecticut US, despite our Lock Down, because it is considered an essential service.

  16. Lots of promise for that house. We still have construction crews at work in NC. I worry about them as a friend is concerned.

  21. Oh I wish they can go back to finishing it soon. But I have to say I love how the structure looks identical to the original portion, if it's finished I think it will look like it has been built the same time :)

  23. All construction halted courtesy of the nasty virus. I wonder how we are all going to get back to normal, it's such a strange life right now. Happy Easter anyway.... stay safe, stay well, stay away from other people.

  32. It may have been stalled for a while? It looks like there's some dampness seeping up into the new brickwork.
