Hi Bill.Is being worked hard.Greeting from Patricia.
Funny how one's mind works ... I just brought to mind The Dubliners' song " Shoals of Herring" - do you know it? Do you like The Dubliners?God bless.
No, I haven't heard that song before. I've heard of the Dubliners but haven't listened to their music. We have the Young Dubliners and they are pretty good. I will have to check out the Dubliners on YT.Thanks, Victor.
they must have a lot of fish caught locally to be processing that much.

That is a lot of fish that is coming in and out.
I have never heard the term pelagic fish. Is it used to denote salt water fish as opposed to fresh water fish?
Pelagic fish live in the pelagic zone of ocean or lake waters – being neither close to the bottom nor near the shore – in contrast with demersal fish, which do live on or near the bottom.
This looks like a huge operation. I assume that strict limits are on the amount of fish that can be taken.
Hello, it does look like a huge operation, I guess they are doing well. Wishing you a happy day!
...big fishy business.
I love learning something new each day Bill, I wasn't sure what pelagic fish were before, now I do 😉
I Agree With Perth Cheers
That's a lot of frozen fish! P.S. I had to look up pelagic fish so I also learned something new.
I looked up the type of fish which are pelagic. Interesting. Cod isn’t one of them.
Regardless, not for me.
I had to look up pelagic too! You taught us all something today, Bill! Thanks!
A few of the stacks look like they could topple over at any time.
That's a lot of fish.
Busy, busy, busy...waking up to the scents of the ocean~
Flash frozen is the best.
Looks like a successful/profitable business.
Tons of fish! Lovely capture.
I was curious if anything came to the U.S. They go in a lot of other directions: West Africa, Russia, and the Far East. Interesting.
My comments exactly like several others...that’s a LOT of fish and wonder where it is all sent...do you know, Bill.
According to their website, the largest concentration of buyers is located in West Africa, Russia and the Far East.
Quite a haul.
I too had to look up pelagic! Interesting post and photograph. All the best Jan
