A lot of people have electric showers and sometimes they just don't work right. We had a problem and asked who fixes these and we were told, that's a job for the shower man, he comes up to Inishowen on Wednesdays. Our unit needed some replacement parts and a new hose. The shower works like it was new.
That is a nice service!
ReplyDeleteStay clean Bill. I never ever dreamed there was such a thing.
ReplyDeleteI assume you mean a boiler for heating the water?
ReplyDeleteIt is an electric shower that is mounted on the wall of the shower. The water runs through it and heats up the water and then it comes out the shower head.
DeleteHere is a link to show you a diagram of the unit.

Thanks for your nice answer. I know a lot of ways to warm the water but this one was really unknown to me.
DeleteHello Bill .
ReplyDeleteVery interesting indeed and very useful!
Lovely image!
Enjoy your weekend!
Dimi...
Good to hear he did his job well.
ReplyDeleteAh Bill, so glad you have this service in your town once a week. We have many "doctors": drain doctor, dent doctor, shower doctor! The same thing. Have a great day Jo
ReplyDelete...new to me!
ReplyDeletewe dont have shower man here ! :)
ReplyDeleteI have never heard of such a service. Interesting!
ReplyDeleteI learn something new here all the time. I have never heard of an electric shower! lol
ReplyDelete"Electric shower " is a new one to me!
ReplyDeleteIt's good to have a positive result. That doesn't always happen.
ReplyDeleteNever heard of a shower man or woman for that matter.

Electric showers are a new one to me.
ReplyDeleteWe had one of those small hot water heaters for awhile and it worked well. Now, I'm not sure about this bizness...doth they clean your shower or your septic tank or both? Must you be in the shower when they clean it? Or must your dog be in the shower when they clean it? So many questions, so few answers. I may not be able to nap this afternoon! 😜
ReplyDeleteYou can't beat a good shower, just makes you feel so energized.
ReplyDeleteI'll join the crowd and say I haven't heard of one either!
ReplyDeleteI think this would be a real money saver.... no need to keep a tank of hot water ready all the time, even though the night. Hot water on demand, when it's needed in the shower. Good idea. Glad it's working OK now. You're probably a lot cleaner than you were last week!
ReplyDeleteSo pleased your shower is now working.
ReplyDeleteLove the van!
ALL the best Jan
This is so cool. Love the title 'Shower Man'
ReplyDeleteI have seen these type showers on tv. The Shower Man has a very nice vehicle to offer such a handy service.
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure what you mean by electric shower Bill but I'm very glad you're back in action ☺ nothing like a hot shower to warm you up. We have our water heater by solar power, really good!
ReplyDeleteElectric shower? Those 2 things shouldn't go together lol.
ReplyDeleteThis sort of "on demand" heating system isn't common in the U.S. Bravo that he got you up and running again.
