cdp theme - wet

a hike on the Cong Trail in Cong, co. Mayo.  We participated in the Cong Heritage Trail walk in December of 2014, our first year in Ireland.  It is held every year on St. Stephen's Day which is the day after Christmas.

the forest was cool and wet, love all that green moss on the trees


we stopped at various places to listen to the moderator talk about the area we were in.

    The moss on the trees give it a nice green touch in winter. I love the last photo!

    That green moss is wonderful -- eye catching -- especially when contrasted with the brown leaves. Love seeing people in the woods with raincoats and umbrellas.

    Fairly typical of any day of the year in
    Ireland! I hung my laundry out this morning & it's was wet by noon!
    Great forest walk & those mossy trees are wonderful!

    I love your pictures. They certainly fit the theme. It's hard to pick a favorite, but I'm partial to the mossy trees.
