down on the pier
It was very windy and choppy the other day when we went down to the pier. There wasn't anything going on, no people, no fishing, nothing. We stayed for a few minutes and watched the water. It was climbing up on the stairs and the ladder people use to come up from their boats was being invaded by water too. It will be interesting to see how the winter plays out here. It will be our first one in Moville and we are only a few minutes away from this spot. We are ready!

Great shots! I find shots of the sea like these exhilarating - it is a wild beast at times! Glad you are ready!
ReplyDeleteLove the dramatic sky!
ReplyDeleteLooks a wee bit cold and forboding, Bill. If things get to rough, you can always come visit Florida during the winter. If we make it through Hurricane Matthew, that is; which looks like it might be headed this way by Friday. I hope it waits 'til Friday 'cuz I've got a golf game on Thursday! 😎
ReplyDeleteLooks like our Lake Ontario.
ReplyDeleteThe sea is a scary thing when it's angry, ours has looked very similar the last few days.. super captures Bill.

ReplyDeleteIt's certainly looking less hospitable than in summer.
ReplyDeleteSome rough looking water.
