I have a small yard since I moved but for years I had a very large yard. I always loved to mow because it was the only time I could be alone with my thoughts.
I can certainly tell that you've had lots of rain by the green of the grass, Bill. I'll bet this guy is glad he doesn't have to trim it with a mower he has to push!
This universal photo reminds us that life does go on. Reminds me of blacksmith paintings of another century. The work that keeps daily life going. Thank you Bill for this thoughtful photo.
They are essential on any lawn... Good health, Bill. Very happy summer days. 🌿🏵️🌸☘️

We just had our grass cut yesterday, I like it short.
ReplyDeleteTake care, enjoy your day!
Plenty of grass to cut after the damp summer we've had.
ReplyDeleteActually, a good time to meditate...

...big guy, little mower.
ReplyDeleteIt will soon need doing again, too.
ReplyDeleteThe lawns here need to be trimmed too...wait, I heard someone outside with the machine :-)
ReplyDeleteLooks like fun.
ReplyDeleteGod bless.
Lovely red!
ReplyDeleteI wish he was here. Waiting for the big guys to come and mow our mound out front seems to take weeks even after getting on the list.
ReplyDeleteHope it wasn’t humid!
ReplyDeleteHe's turning the wheel. Doing a good job.
ReplyDeletePerhaps he needs a larger mower? He must be a city employee.
ReplyDeleteHe must have to do it often with all the rain that you get, Bill.

ReplyDeleteThat red really pops!
ReplyDeleteThat grass is looking very healthy.
ReplyDeleteSame here - drove me nuts! But I love the smell!

ReplyDeleteDe no ser así, las hiergas crecerían y llegarían a una elevada altura.
ReplyDeleteUn abrazo.
I have to do that tomorrow
ReplyDeleteI have been away now for a week on vacation
but is now back home
Busy background.
ReplyDeleteLooks like the grass is well kept! :-)
ReplyDeleteThe dandelions are gone by now.
ReplyDeleteLove it. Such a real photo
ReplyDeleteThe local insects will not be happy about that.
ReplyDeleteIt has to be done. Personally, I usually leave a few islands of clover for my buzzing co-residents when mowing.

ReplyDeleteA day to mow the lawn
ReplyDeleteNow grass anymore by us to mow. Just woods. :)
ReplyDeleteI didn't mind mowing the lawn though.
Genial foto. Te mando un beso.
ReplyDeleteThe grass looks so short. Must be he's done that section.
ReplyDeleteAn endless task.
ReplyDeleteThe grass looks lovely and green.
