not far from the town centre, conveniently located especially for those hiking the Bluestack Way. Most of the towns we visit, there isn't a place where the public has access.
I hope it's as nice inside! Funny, I saw a porta potty on the bridge that is being worked on. I can't imagine having to go there while building a bridge, but when you gotta go..you gotta go.
In town I know of two and they cost money. Three more in Shopping Centers I know of, two for free. Not enough for a big city. Often when I still wanted to look for books or such instead I went home cause I "needed to go". Their loss. To top it: They have two for free for men (for going pee, we call them "Pissoirs", mon ami, but none for women. Men have usually.. let´s not go into detail ;-) Glad you have such a nice one.
Ana
Nice to have public toilets specially when they are good maintained. Looks spotless from the outside Bill.

Just curious...what is the hand pump there for? Can you wash up inside the building?

DeletePublic toilets are almost non-existent here.
ReplyDeleteI hope it will never run out of toilet paper. ( ͡ °~͡° )
ReplyDeleteIt is good to know where all the public restrooms are located. Take care, have a great day and a happy new week.
ReplyDeletePublic toilets take a load off one's mind.
ReplyDeleteGod bless.

The public toilets located in the parks are closed during the winter. Very inconvenient.
ReplyDeleteThat would be good to know, especially for hikers.
ReplyDeleteA lot of them are being closed down around here, councils having to save money.

Luiz Gomes.
Public toilets are hard to find these days
ReplyDeleteUna entrada estupenda, los baños publicos deberian abundar para tantas personas caminantes,
ReplyDeleteHope they're clean - lol!
ReplyDeleteBlessings, Bill!
That's thoughtful. I remember in Port Isaac in Cornwall, one had to pay for the toilets. And they weren't very nice either.
ReplyDeleteVideo-monitored peeing - brave new world.
ReplyDeleteNecessary utility.
ReplyDeleteThe outside looks well kept and clean. Must be an inconvenience to many no loos along the way.
ReplyDeleteVery much needed
ReplyDeletelooks neat and tidy
ReplyDeletePublic bathrooms are lacking in a lot of places where they're needed. Clean and well cared for as this one looks, they are a blessing.
