There will never be anything but post, it´s written in stone - cool idea. We have a stone too, at the entrance to our street with the name on it :-) When we applied for this condo and I saw it I had a good feeling and YES, we live here now (there were many who applied. Their daughter liked us).
Oh my...Maybe if they power wash the stucco to clean things up a bit...and the rock. It just feels so gloomy... Hope you're having a peaceful day! Cool shot! hugs Donna
It does look like the standard issue. Our mailman has been driving a van lately instead of one of those mailtrucks that usually gets stuck in the snow.
I don't know how anyone can work in such a dismal and rundown place!... It has a good location, what about the Donegal post office?! Are they really so poor?
Now I read that they have been closed since 2019, you should have told us, Bill... Is there no post office in Donegal anymore? And I go from amazement to amazement... Have a nice Sunday afternoon, a hug. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The Postal Service is still important even though much of our personal communication is now digital. We still have one relative who only sends letters through the mail, and they are a delight to receive.
Is that the post office? Strange appearance
ReplyDeleteHi Bill.
ReplyDeleteNice post office.
Greetings from Patricia.
Neither rain, nor snow, nor sleet, nor hail shall keep the postmen from their appointed rounds.
ReplyDeleteLooks nice and neat.
ReplyDeleteGod bless.
Looks like a nice post office. Have a wonderful week!

Cómoda y accesible su entrada.
ReplyDeleteNice that all the signs are green instead of red. I like that.
ReplyDeleteI like how they made that boulder a post office sign.
ReplyDeleteI like the look of it.

Very clever - a blog post about a post in a post office.
ReplyDeleteIt looks similar to the post offices here except for the green.
ReplyDeletenobody around....
ReplyDeleteCan't believe I am seeing the post office in Donegal. So many songs about Donegal I love!
ReplyDeleteLooks like an older style building but good you have a post office.
ReplyDeleteOur post office colour is bright yellow.
ReplyDeleteIt looks well protected by that large rock, Bill. Post offices are disappearing here as they put kiosks in stores instead.
ReplyDeleteNice post office. Reminds me of the one that we had where we used to live.
ReplyDeleteAh, a Post post.
ReplyDeleteNice looking post office.

ReplyDeleteLinda oficina de correos. Te mando un beso.
ReplyDeleteWonder how popular the post office is these days!
ReplyDeleteInteresting. Always a post office in so many places.
ReplyDeleteIs it still used?
ReplyDeleteThe post office moved to a kiosh in a store not to far from here.
DeleteLooks like it has served the public for many years! Hope it continues for many more. I still like "snail mail" but seldom use it myself sad to say.
ReplyDeleteIt's sweet!
ReplyDeleteParece um pouco abandonado o edifício... mas nada que uma pintura na fachada do edifício não resolva! Gostei de ver!
ReplyDeleteUm grande abraço!
