It was Gaelic football.
So I believe that cup is for the winners in Rugby?

That is quite a display!
I'm betting there was a party or two to celebrate.
I'm not a fan of American football at all but since I had never seen Gaelic football I Googled it and really liked what I saw. It is a lot more exciting than what we see here!
The cups are impressive. All the best Jan
Not familiar with Gaelic football. I off to look it up too.
Ah yes, Gaelic football. I might have Hurling. Cups are great to win, but then what do you do with them?
So interesting! I went to watch sword play yesterday. It was some reenactors who spend their weekend playing around with swords and telling folks the history of them. It was at our library.
Nice big trophies!
