what is the meaning of this?

a bus window photo taken a few weeks ago.
We've asked some people and no one knows its name or significance and we couldn't find anythng about it.  It's two people reaching out, but why.  It is located just outside of Lettermacaward.

  1. Not too sure. Maybe it is just an art installation for harmony?

  8. A very strange sculpture indeed. We have like that, some in Lagos. The most bizarre, everyone calls the roundabout the 'Black Ball'. The artist calls it 'Man's time on Earth' !... Hugs, dear Bill.

  12. These pieces have really got you thinking. Why? Interesting pieces out in a field by themselves.

  14. This is a great looking sculpture, but one never knows what the artist was thinking. Perhaps he or she wanted us to work it out for ourselves. Loneliness? Longing? Who knows.

  16. We have so many weird statues here in Las Vegas so when I see something like this I just chalk it up to the the artists imagination while making it.

  17. Not entirely, but in a way this sculpture reminds me of "Hands across the Devide" in Derry.

Is there a local library or civic office that may know more about this sculpture?
