and Killybegs is going with metal frame with the lights arranged in a cone shape.

  5. I must confess, curmudgeonly as it may be, that all of this hype for Christmas, which assails my senses earlier each year, is annoying, sometimes verging on obscene. I would prefer that the tree is left in the ground. What I would really prefer is no tree at all.

  6. I think people should decorate themselves with lights and tinsel instead. That way they will spread cheer wherever they go; whereas a tree, real or not, is stationary.

    God bless.

  7. Hi Bill.

Personally, I think a real tree is much more fun.

    Greeting from Patricia.

  14. I would think the Killybegs tree would be very attractive when lit up at night.

  15. Two different approaches to the theme of Christmas tree. Not much decoration except lights on the real tree. I would like to see the Killybegs tree lite. Bet is looks great.

  26. My preference would be for the real tree as the second one just doesn't evoke a Christmas frame of mind for me (sorry about the awful pun).
