arrived here on Sunday Rain, gusty winds and thunde all through the day and evening. I opened our door and took this photo of St. John's Church of Ireland. It is on the road above us and with the leaves gone, you can see it.
When you said that the church was above you it brought a smile to my face, for most Catholic Churches in many country towns/cities are on top of a hill usually. Often the best view in town so to speak.
Ha Bill, Je heb nu een mooie uitkijk naar de kerk.
ReplyDeleteGroet Kees.
Severe weather seems to be the new normal. Whatever happened to normal weather?
ReplyDeleteHi Bill.
ReplyDeleteNice to see through the tree branches.
Greeting from Patricia.
Gosto deste enquadramento.
ReplyDeleteUm abraço e boa semana.

Nice view through bare trees
ReplyDeleteJust read an article online about the storm. Stay safe.
ReplyDeleteIt is raining like mad here too, it woke me up last night, it sounded as if a tab was filling a bath!
ReplyDeleteYes I know the feeling.
ReplyDeleteTis the season, I suppose, when you can expect gales.
ReplyDeleteGreat photo. Keep warm Bill and take care.
ReplyDeleteGod bless.
Take care in such a weather. Photo made me sad. Sure I'll be more happy to see the same pic in spring season:)
ReplyDelete...I hope that you put some rocks in your pockets so you didn't blow away!
ReplyDeleteWe had a storm roll in on Sunday also. After I spent such a wonderful day walking and photographing on Saturday, Sunday was miserable and rainy.
ReplyDeleteA brooding kind of shot.
ReplyDeleteA nice view from the door!
ReplyDeleteNice shot. We are having just foggy stuff. should burn off by noon. I hope

You have a great view out your door!
ReplyDeleteAutumn storms can be harsh by themselves
ReplyDeleteI agree with Andy and ask the same question. It is very worrisome and scary when we observe climate change on a daily basis.
ReplyDeleteI read that this storm was going to affect Ireland and Wales the most …
ReplyDeleteStay safe and warm.
All the best Jan
Hope there isn’t much damage from the storm.
ReplyDeleteHope you will not get any damage due to the weather.
ReplyDeleteLovely view from your door!
I like how the bare branches stand out in the winter cold.
ReplyDeleteOur snow is gone and we've had a rainy day here too.
ReplyDeleteNICE shot of the steeple through the trees.
Those views are more special when they're just seasonal. Hope your weather improves soon.

That's a nice view but I am sorry for the stormy weather.
ReplyDeleteBe safe, stay warm- beautiful photo!
ReplyDeleteWell that certainly got rid of the last leaves of autumn holding on Bill 🍁
