    1. The choices they have are coal, peat and wood. Lots of people still burn coal because it is cheap. I am still amazed that people like the coal. It is dirty and not good for the environment.

  21. That's an increasingly rare sight around here as more and more people rely on gas or electricity for heating. Coal or wood used to be the only choices when I was a boy.
